Parallel lathes
Our parallel lathes have a modular design with a length variable from 3 to 16 metres.
The power of the spindle, the diameter, and the type of chuck clamping are adapted according to the dimensions, materials, and types of piece to be machined. The power can be up to 100 kW as standard, or even more on request. The piece is held firmly in position thanks to the self-centring hydraulically operated steady rest. The steady rests can be independently positioned, numerically or manually, according to the version.
According to the size of the machine and the options chosen, one or more NC machining slides can be included. Each slide is independent and has its own control. It has its own automatic multi-position turret. MPM designs and develops a range of standard medium and large parallel lathes, and adapts to your specific needs thanks to the modular design of its machines.
