MPM invests a share of its annual turnover in R&D to keep finding better ways to satisfy customer needs and to renew its range of products and services.
Our R&D projects mobilise the in-house experts who are needed, depending on the project, as well as certain dedicated colleagues assigned to our internal platform.
This 250 m2 platform accommodates demonstrators of machines or solutions under development, construction or validation. It is also a tool that lets our customers carry out a full-scale test of various technologies. The scope of this platform is extended via the research organisations with which MPM works in France and abroad: CETIM, FRAUNHOFER, Technical Universities, ENSAM, etc.
The R&D team handles 10 to 15 projects per year; these are grouped according to themes (Processes, Materials, Machines) and paid for by the company’s own funds, its partners, and local, regional, national and European schemes. As a result of this, MPM has a portfolio of relevant patents in its various sectors of activity.
